In my artistic practice, I actively engage in the exploration and immersion in an array of diverse conceptual frameworks. My most recent focus has been centered on the exploration of sensory perception through the medium of mixed media paintings. Specifically, I am interested in the nuanced interpretations of sound and olfaction and the exploration of the individualized nature of these sensory experiences. Through the exploration of these evocative sensory perceptions, I aim to delve deeper into the intricacies of these human experiences.

"Tempest in the Senses"

"Tempest in the Senses" is an immersive artwork that invites audiences to explore a multisensory experience through touch, smell, sound and sight of a seemingly ' normal looking' painting. This work was created using acrylic and conductive paint on canvas alongside with a innovative electronics hidden behind the work allowing for the sensory journey. Paint infused with fragrance oils that emit the smell of a salty ocean are present on the sides of the work further transporting the viewer to feel as though they are part of the storm in front of them. It conveys the idea that a painting is more than just sight but can be enhanced with intentional smell, touch and sound.

"Untitled"

This series of abstract paintings delve into the idea of the visualisation of scent and the exploration into contemporary olfactory art.
