My project reimagines Station Pier as a place where arrivals, culture and community come together. It explores how a historic port could evolve into a shared public space that supports movement, ecology and everyday life. Using the sequence PORT > POLICY > PROTOTYPE, I tested ideas through drawings, environmental studies and two physical models. The work blends personal migration stories with design strategies to propose a new civic and cultural interface on the edge of the bay.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
