Hi, I’m Carly and I'm a graphic designer who loves turning ideas into bold, thoughtful, story-driven visuals. I studied Communication Design with a focus on branding and advertising, where I developed a deep appreciation for how design can shape emotion, build connection, and bring meaning to everyday experiences. Freelancing during my degree with local businesses and individuals has deepened my curiosity, adaptability, and love for collaboration. I’m inspired by the small details, the big ideas, and everything in between. I always strive to create work that feels authentic, engaging, and full of personality through visual storytelling that leaves a lasting impact and invites people in.
Introducing Unplug Australia 2026
Unplug Australia is a music festival built around switching off screens and reconnecting with real moments. I created a full brand world inspired by presence, rhythm, and the joy of shared music. The project includes a full identity system, portfolio book, internal and external applications, merch, and on-site branding. With phones stored in lockers and quiet phone zones available, the festival’s story focuses on being present, feeling the music, and celebrating connection without distraction.
Socials of Unplug Australia 2026
The social media rollout was designed to capture the attention of 18–30 year olds through bold colour, current artists, and high-energy visuals. I created artist spotlights, setlist drops, ticket announcements, and clear info posts that matched youth trends and online behaviour. The marketing strategy focused on fast, vibrant, scroll-stopping content that celebrated the festival’s “live in the moment” message while building hype and driving engagement across platforms.
Billboard Advertising for Unplug Australia 2026
The billboard and outdoor campaign was designed to capture attention and celebrate the festival’s return for the new year. Using bold imagery, vibrant colours, and dynamic layouts, the designs highlight key points like artist setlists while showcasing the electric energy and positive vibes of the event. The visuals communicate the “live in the moment” experience, inviting viewers to feel the music, connection, and festival atmosphere even before they step through the gates.
Setlist and Chosen Artists of Unplug Australia 2026
For Unplug 2026, the artist lineup was curated to capture current staples from both the Australian and international music scene. Each act has gained major popularity in recent years and delivers energetic, high-impact performances. The setlist and artist selection were designed to create a “live in the moment” experience, keeping the festival vibrant, engaging, and full of the positive energy that defines the event from start to finish.
Motion Reel for Unplug Australia 2026
The motion reel was created as a visual release of the festival setlist, giving faces to the artists names and bringing the lineup to life. Designed for a younger audience with shorter attention spans, the reel uses dynamic motion, bold visuals, and energetic pacing to capture interest quickly. By translating information into an engaging visual format, it makes the setlist exciting and shareable while keeping viewers immersed in the festival’s vibrant, “live in the moment” energy.
Meet a determined little hamster on a mission for his favourite snack… peanuts! What starts as a simple picnic heist turns into a story full of clever ideas, persistence, and one bold leap of faith. Every frame was fully hand-drawn, then meticulously animated in After Effects and edited in Premiere Pro. I carefully crafted each movement, expression, and scene to create humour, heart, and energy. Chasing Peanuts celebrates creativity, determination, and playful storytelling.
