I’m a curious and hands-on designer who loves learning new things and applying them to my designs. I’m passionate about designing for a better future, creating thoughtful and innovative solutions that contribute positively to the world. My design process is iterative and research-driven, beginning with exploration and concept generation, followed by refinement through feedback and development.

My latest project, Sensa, addresses the high dropout rate of traditional PTSD therapies through a complementary treatment tool that bridges the gap between clinical therapy and self-guided practice.

Meet Sensa

A system that bridges complementary and traditional PTSD treatments through vibration and guided meditation, with a connected app that allows psychologists to monitor progress and support individuals throughout therapy.

The Daily Flow

The daily journey of the user begins with logging their mood in the Sensa app, followed by a personalised meditation session on the mat. After completing their meditation, the user is prompted to reflect again, either through a written entry or a voice recording. The mat is designed to be foldable, allowing for easy storage and portability.

Vibration

Gentle vibrations are used to enhance the effectiveness of meditation, helping the body relax more deeply and allowing users to feel the sound physically as well as hear it.

Interface

The Sensa App was designed with empathy and autonomy at its core. It guides users through daily mood reflections and personalised meditations, encouraging self-awareness while allowing them to engage at their own pace. Users can revisit past reflections, track achievements, and build a sense of progress throughout their recovery journey.

Sensa For Clinicians

The Sensa for Clinicians app allows therapists to monitor patient engagement and wellbeing, create personalised meditation programs, and review reflections and mood tracking between sessions. During in-person appointments, therapists and patients can also set goals and affirmations together, which appear in the user’s app as gentle reminders, fostering ongoing connection and continuity of care.
