My current project, Echoes of Childhood, reimagines play in a future where childhood becomes rare. Through the reuse of decaying structures and scaffolding frameworks, I seek to create spaces that connect generations — places where architecture becomes a vessel for empathy and collective memory.

Echoes of Childhood

Echoes of Childhood reimagines a once-abandoned playground in Wyndham Park as a shared landscape for both children and adults. Inspired by Zupagrafika’s Soviet Playgrounds and EASA’s Level Up project, the design preserves rusted and broken play structures, layering them with scaffolding frameworks that symbolise repair and renewal. The model combines plywood, bamboo veneer, and metal rods to reflect decay and resilience. It explores how play can reconnect generations in a future where childhood becomes rare.
