Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2025

My work is rooted in the art of narrative. As a Master of Design graduate, my projects often explore how to tell compelling stories through motion, conceptual imagery, and digital design. I am particularly interested in the emerging relationship between human creativity and new technologies, using a range of tools to craft unique and resonant visual experiences.

The Frame Unbound

A self-directed 2D animation that tells the story of a girl who emerges from a static painting to perform Kathak dance. This project is a personal reflection on my passion for Kathak and my heritage in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The work was created using frame-by-frame animation in Procreate, using video dance references for authentic movement. The character animation and detailed background illustrations were then composited, timed, and polished in Adobe After Effects.

Cup Compass

This is a complete brand identity project for "CupCompass," a conceptual coffee brand for a young, globally curious audience. My goal was to turn coffee into a travel experience.

I designed the complete brand identity, including packaging for jars , sachets , and takeaway cups. Each flavour (like Kyoto, Istanbul, and Mexico) is a "destination," with its own unique illustration , colour palette , and patterns inspired by that region’s culture. The coffee sachets are even designed to look like collectible postcards , complete with stamp-like edges, to bring the travel concept to life.

The Last Note

This is an exploration of generative art in motion. I used Leonardo AI to dream up the entire visual world for "The Last Note," a fictional noir set in 1919 New Orleans.

I created the first styleframe in vector using Adobe Illustrator and then prompted the AI to create imagery in a flat, vector style inspired by Mad Men and Catch Me If You Can. Every scene, from the voodoo symbols to the atmospheric city streets, originated as an AI generation. My role was to direct this "AI-cinematographer" and then composite, animate, and time these elements in Adobe After Effects to tell a cohesive, suspenseful story adding music, sound effects, typography and transitions.

Confessions can be comforting

This project is a short film designed to raise awareness about mental health and substance use. It combines 2D animation with a live-action narrative to tell a deeply personal and relatable story. The film aims to destigmatize the act of asking for help, showing that 'Confessions can be Comforting' and that reaching out is the first step toward healing.

Medium: 2D Animation and Live-Action Video, composited in Adobe After Effects.

Enid & Wednesday

This is a short dialogue scene I edited (and acted in as Wednesday!) based on the Wednesday series. It's a classic confrontation between Wednesday Addams and her roommate, Enid.

Our goal was to build a cinematic atmosphere, so I handled the art direction (set dressing and costumes) and we used creative purple and pink lighting to show their clashing personalities. The scene begins with AI-generated establishing shots of a castle to set the mood, and the final edit focuses on clean dialogue, reaction shots, and building tension.

3D Still Life: Violin, Mouse & Chess

A surreal 3D still life designed to explore form, texture, and light. Every object in this scene—from the electric violin to the marble mouse and chess pieces—was modelled from scratch in Autodesk Maya. I then created all custom textures and materials (like gold, marble, and chrome), lit the scene, and animated the camera to create a dynamic composition.
