Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2025

The stones reverberate. I am calling and being called to, across time and vast distances, from deep in the earth. Relationships ripple in, out and through one another: domestic architecture, limestone, an interior field of memory, a quarry, flint rubble in a rock wall. An Irish sean nós song as Gaeilge, a hydrophone recording of pebble crabs, the sound of carving this limestone, hollows in my bones. I am listening, singing, in the half-light: these loci call and respond to each other, timthriallach—repeating, recurring, cyclic.
