Kate Umseher

I am a ceramic-based artist practising on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong people. My works experiment with the historical techniques of ceramic practices to investigate and poke fun at societal structures. These works focus on achievements, specifically trophies, challenging the typical expectations of elegance in the objects and contrasting them with an environment that is pristine.
