Tay’s practice explores cultural heritage, migration, and memory through sculpture and drawing. Using plaster, foam, and red batik-inspired motifs, she reflects on how stories and identities move across generations and geographies. Her works uses vessels and bodies as carriers of love, care, and resilience, where patterned interiors become spaces of remembrance. Through this merging of craft and symbolism, Tay transforms inherited traditions into evolving expressions of continuity and belonging.
