My work explores themes of memory, obsession, coexistence, and mapping moments of thought and contemplation through abstracted paintings. Working at a large scale aids to create an atmosphere of obsession, engulfment and total absorption. Through texture, materiality and a limited colour palette, my work aims to reflect the intensely immersive process of reflection and rumination undertaken during the creation of these works.
