Fostering posterity is an agricultural scheme proposed within Newlands Primary School, driven to catalyse sustainable practice and ecological sensitivity beyond the educational boundary. Through complex social, cultural and environmental interconnections, this project encourages the nurturing of human and non-human species, and supports the growth of a balanced habitat into the future. With the four primary drivers of the proposal being filtered to agriculture, education, ecology and community, ‘Fostering Posterity’ aims to be influenced by, and to influence, the socio- environmental contexts of North Coburg.
