OUTGROWN: north-eastern exterior

OUTGROWN captures notions of multi-generational living and adaptability of our homes. This is particularly in response to how we as humans have outgrown the way we typically design out dwellings and the immense pressure for adaptability that has been especially prevalent in the past few years following the global pandemic. This project conceptualizes how contemporary lifestyles and more flexible patterns of living and working are shifting the meaning of Home. It will aim to develop a brief in correspondence to research on a new notion of home and how built form can respond to pandemic driven pressures along the coastal town of Apollo Bay.
