The recent pandemic has thrown societal structures into somewhat of an unknown while giving life to design opportunities within the mobility space. As a result, students were able to explore questions such as; what will the role of personalised and public transport be post-pandemic, how will AI continue to transform these services, and how can we re-imagine mobility in ways we hadn’t thought feasible or relevant before? Sustainable practices were also emphasised, with Monash University’s Net Zero Initiative guiding students through the exploration of inventive ways to access and move through the Clayton campus without carbon-based energy systems.
