Sustainability & Impact

Societal, political and environmental challenges present opportunities for designers to contribute to building a more equitable future. In response to these challenges, students were able to investigate issues such as; environmental degradation, poverty, hunger, mental health, and safety in the community. With a human-centred approach, the project outcomes suggest alternatives to the current realities, promoting feasible solutions to galvanize change within the existing social infrastructures while also designing for and with the community.
