Hello, I am Aixin with a bachelor's degree in sociology. During my design studies in the Masters program, I liked to use some social phenomena as design inspirations to visualize images. I enjoy the creative process and production of cross-border advertising activities. I think design is a powerful tool to visualize the desire and imagination of the public. I hope my design can attract the audience and arouse their thinking.
"ASCEND" - A Sports Brand In Motion ‘Olympics’ Campaign
With the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics approach, people began to pay more and more attention to winter outdoor sports, I want to combine the topicality of the Olympic Games to design a professional outdoor sports brand with a more fashionable sense and affinity to attract consumers and provide a comfortable and professional sports experience.
The colour palette is blue for ice and red for Chinese New Year. And noise texture is applied to the graphics to make scenes more contrasting. In terms of animation content, several representative winter sports have been selected, and a brand logo has been added to the product to deepen consumers’ impression of the brand.
Protest - A Motion Graphic Music Video
The song "Michale Meets Mozart" was selected as my BGM. The passionate collision of piano and cello in the melody created an atmosphere of unknown and awakening. I was inspired by this and decided to use animation to tell the story of the injustice and discrimination women suffer in society. With the prevalence of feminism, women bravely fight and break prejudice to be themselves. The animation will not have thematic characters but will be made by selecting symbolic elements about gender equality.
The colour palette is blue and pink, and the gradient with noise texture is made through AI to complete the work more layered and powerful.
