Hi! My name is Ashleigh Rayner, I am a graduate from Monash with a bachelor of communication design. My interests include designing in an environmentally friendly way, for a sustainable future. Here is a sample of work from my final studio, Not for Nothin', where we were tasked to rebrand and design a major piece of collateral to help our not-for-profit organisation in their communication design.

YRK Logo

The Yarra Riverkeeper Association is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for and protects the waterway that is the Yarra River. With this hypothetical rebrand, I aimed to create an identity which is soft and inviting, creating a sense of openness and inclusion, as the association thrives on being ‘community first’. With silhouettes of the graphic elements of leaves and fish, the logo enhances the YRK’s essence.

YRK River signs

This project was to create a deliverable that benefits and improves a chosen not-for-profit organisation. The Yarra Riverkeeper Association needed system which helps the public to access all the incredible depth of information that the organisation already has. These signs along the river contain a selection of QR codes which takes the audience to the appropriate page on their existing website. The use of QR codes create a sustainable cost-effective resource, as the maintenance of new information will only need to be adapted on the association’s website.
