Hello, my name is Camilla Welsh! I'm a Communication Design graduate from Monash University. As a designer, I hold a love for visual identities, branding, publication and typography. ‘Buy bye’ is aimed at impulsive buyers and to spark conversation around the idea of consumerism and the effects which it has on humans. Through research, I came to the conclusion that consumers have blurred the line between ‘needs’ and ‘wants’, causing mass consumption. We as humans need to be reminded about what ‘long term happiness’ can be like. Through online shopping we have forgotten how we can get ‘happiness’ not just the thrill of buying and receiving new products. ‘Buy bye’ is closing the gap between the consumers and the makers. By informing the consumers about the background of the products.

Through the brand ‘Pom’s lunch’, I want to create a fun and healthy alternative of a school tuck shop. Pom’s lunch is the same basic notion as a school tuck shop with the old school paper bags, out of a van window but will be homemade food which you would receive at home.
OPENING THE DOORS TO OPPORTUNITIES
Opening the doors to opportunities', is depicting the notion that public transport should be free in Melbourne. If so the general public would be able to travel and explore Melbourne freely and get a real feel for the amazing city which it is.
