Hello! My name is Claudia Spiers and here I have featured my studio and motion work for this semester. For my studio I participated in Not For Nothin’ where I designed a new brand identity and collateral for a not-for-profit organisation. I chose Orangutan Foundation Australia (OFI), which is a conservation foundation. For the major piece of collateral I created a Christmas campaign to drive sales for OFI Australia’s legacy forest. My motion work features a showreel of my favourite projects and a full video of my free choice assignment. I hope you enjoy looking through my work and get in touch if you have any questions.

Christmas Cards

These Christmas cards are intended to be sold by OFI Australia, with the proceeds going towards the OFI Australia Legacy Forest. The designs merge the ideas of Christmas, orangutans and trees to create the main product for the Christmas Legacy Forest campaign.

Orangutan Christmas Ornaments

These are ornaments that could be sold as a way to drive sales for OFI Australia. This is a part of the Christmas Legacy Forest campaign, where the orangutan ornaments are intended to be placed on a Christmas tree.

OFI Australia Collateral from 'Brand Guidelines'

This is a page from the brand guidelines I created for OFI Australia, showing how the new brand identity could be applied to their website. I chose bright colours and fun shapes to make the website engaging and exciting.

OFI Australia Legacy Forest Brochure

This brochure is intended to be distributed as a way to raise awareness and provide information about OFI Australia's Legacy Forest. It is not Christmas themed like the rest of the Legacy Forest collateral so that it can be distributed year-round, focusing on images of orangutans in the forest instead.

Funky Town

For my final motion design project, I decided to have some fun and animate to Lipps Inc.'s 'Funky Town'. It is set in a not-so-funky subway station, featuring rats and pigeons jamming to the song.
