With climate change becoming more and more prevalent, Tomorrow Farm is a new type of large scale farm where produce is grown within a climate-controlled environment. New hybrid fruits and vegetables are created to be more resistant to drought and temperature fluctuation. This genetically modified produce also have a much higher content of essential nutrients.
It will allow for hybrid produce to grow year-round, eliminating the idea of seasonal fruit.

The section indicates the dividing spaces of the climate-controlled environment and how the crop will be sectioned. To the left is a war room to grow conventionally summer and spring fruits and vegetables. To the right is a cool room to produce winter harvest. In the centre is a neutral environment to grow foods that don’t pertain to one season.

Lighting System

As the weather gets more erratic, farming needs to control the light to ensure the harvest. A combination of blue and red lighting is integrated into the ceiling pipe to mimic the photosynthesis process. The ceiling pipe is used to water the crops below.
