Highly commended
Hi, I am Georgia. I am a Master of Design student at Monash University specializing in Collaborative Design. I aim to adopt a systemised and reductive approach to visual identity systems and critical design strategy. This approach often results in system-centric projects that manifest identity through a range of dynamic but fundamental visuals. Below are a few samples of projects completed during my studies.

The Visitor-Centered Museum
The project focuses on designing a visitor-centered museum experience in which audiences matter as much as collections. Drawing upon both precedents and action research – involving participation in a creative and collaborative manner. This project foregrounds the experimental qualities that design research can bring to supporting creative problem-solving and ideation through ethnographic processes.

LUX
The project focuses on creating an online fashion boutique for authenticated pre-owned luxury fashion. The focus was on creating an underlying graphic visual that could evoke emotion and connection through the images of the luxury pieces and collections themselves, this was established through the combination of the layout, grid and use of colour from the images.
The overall identity included various forms of brand collateral including a responsive website, packaging, invoices, email marketing campaign and digital marketing.

Animating for Calmness
The studio worked within the framework outlined by Design Health Collab (Monash University) and Cabrini Emergency Department. The project investigates the feasibility of using virtual reality (VR) and other customised distraction techniques to prevent and manage acute behavioural disturbance in elderly patients admitted to the Emergency Department.
A series of fluid and morphing shapes are aimed to be controlled by slow, deep breathing, which ultimately aims to soothe and relieve anxiety in a patient, through the use of respiratory biofeedback.

HUB – Reimagine your workspace
The project focuses on how the coronavirus pandemic has provided an opportunity to rethink the design of workspaces. The objective was to design and develop a company which aims to provide modern workspaces designed for everyone’s working from home needs.
HUB was developed out of a desire to achieve happiness within the modern workplace and redefine the meaning of a day at the office. With thoughtful consideration of the way people work from home today, we created a series of solution-based workspaces that incorporate the flexibility of today's work style and the needs of the modern individual within their home environment.

Inclusive Gallery Experiences - Mary Quant
The project aims develop and prototype a design solution that responds to accessibility issues encountered by blind and low vision (BLV) visitors at Bendigo Art Gallery, in the context of the Mary Quant Exhibition.
The Bendigo Art Gallery accessibility application consists of a digital interface (for both mobile and tablet devices) which aims to geotrack visitors and provide immediate visual information on nearby works. The interface has been carefully designed to allow the user to customise their accessibility and display settings depending on their preferences.

Konda E2 - Critical Design Concept
This project aims to focus on the technical and practical capabilities required for the creation of a design visualisation/prototype. Through the use of fundamental design and technology skills aimed at communicating ideas; KONDA E2, a conceptual futuristic phone is able to be visualised as a critical design concept through the realistic images created in Adobe Illustrator.
