Hi, I'm HAIYAO SU, an interaction designer from Monash University Bachelor of Design. As an interaction designer, I like exploring different design fields. I'm interested in analysing user data to generate user-centred products that fit their mental model. Moreover, I'm interested in using my software and hardware skills to define new ways of interaction. The projects below showcased my research skills, analysis skills, prototyping skills, 3D design skills, rendering skills, software coding and hardware coding skills.

Sleepy - Service Design
This scenario shows how the service will work in the user's home. The sticker, humidifier, and APP work closely together via wireless technology; Digital stickers remind the user to finish daily tasks in a physical way; A mobile controlled humidifier is used to pre-humidify the room for sleep.; The digital App is used to plan the 'back at home' tasks for the user and connect with and control the stickers and humidifier.

Service blueprint
The service blueprint showcases how the front and backstage support the user to use the service. It indicates how the product and APP we designed to interact with the user and the supporting process behind those design outcomes.

Product sketch
This is the product sketch of the product I design in this service system. There are two products. The sticker is used to remind the user to finish the daily task on time, and the humidifiers are used to pre-humidify the room to create a good sleeping environment.

Product prototype
I used Arduino and 3D print techniques to mock up my product. In order to use mobile control the loop, I need an HC05 Bluetooth control module to connect with Arduino uno to control the send and receive. For humidifiers, it connects with Arduino uno via the relay (relay already with 10om resistor) and the How schematic need to power supply, one for Uno, one for the Transducer which powers the ultrasonic atomisation.

User interface design
This is the high fidelity user interface design of the APP

Instruction studio
The ArtCode provide kids with a new way of learning coding logic through Artworks; I will use each element inside the Artwork to teach the basic logic of coding. Instead of writing the code, the code construction will be the blueprint, just like the google learning code, because this method is easier for the kid to carry out. The final product is avaliable on: cds3001instruction.illustrationpuzzle.com/newClass1.html
