Joy Us is a sharing platform that provides an enjoyable way to share otherwise under-utilised goods with neighbours. Sharing provides a sustainable & alternative way to access goods — one that avoids the need for people to own products by buying them in order to access them. Joy Us provides a network to connect to people in your community who are willing to share goods you want through borrowing!

Joy Us is a service that connects people together to share and borrow goods that otherwise are under-utilised. Think of all the goods in your home that go unused - why not allow people to borrow them to ensure they don't need to buy one of their own only to have it also sit around unused as well! Well Joy Us does just that by making it easy to search for items that others are willing to share for you to borrow!

Give your rarely or never used items new life by transforming them into shareable items all thanks to Sharey stickers! Sharey stickers have ID codes to collect the item’s shared journey of being borrowed & the stories they produce! With an easy scan, borrowers are able to thank the sharer or provide updates & information about the item.

Shareys (Share + Story) are a way to adding value to sharing as you can belong to a collective story, to feel a part of a bigger story of the community. Research found hearing stories after sharing goods produced a feeling of joy - so not only do the borrowers get to enjoy being a part of a shared story, the sharers get to enjoy seeing the impact & stories experienced by others as a result of sharing!
