Hello! I’m Jijia Jin, a recent Monash Communication Design graduate. I work across brand identity, publication, UX, packaging and photography. I’m still learning and always willing to experiment with new things.

Make Things Public: Re-see the world

Re-see the world is a publication that calls upon the public to revalue and open their imagination to public space. By integrating surrealism, cyberpunk and vaporwave, I completed work through a series of steps of research, photography, collage and interview. This is where you can find that meaningless things can bring meaning.

Possible Future: N.A.U

N.A.U (Nature around you) is a perfume designed to allow people to enjoy the outside world while at home. Targeted at people who miss being out in nature because they are currently stuck at home due to the lockdown, this perfume gives you a double experience of smell and feel. Sunshine (one of the N.A.U variants), for example, not only is able to make you smell the sunshine, but the perfume liquid can also raise the ambient temperature, giving you the feeling of being bathed in sunlight.

Distributioin: W era

Design matters instead of gender. W era is a clothing store without gender roles, aiming to break the gendered stereotypes of fashion and to let people express any form of gender. “Your gender identity and expression can fall anywhere on the spectrum of masculine and feminine”. In here, there are no men’s or women’s sections, whoever can wear whatever.
