Hi there, I'm Anthea a committed Spatial Designer graduate. As a relatively quiet person, I like to express myself through my design work. As viewed in my works, I always use a process-oriented approach to creating environments, installations and concept models that mediate people's relationship to place. I firmly believe that designs are not only based on the present situation but one that adapts in light of the future.

Algae Reserve

This unique interactive reserve aims to instil knowledge of algae in visitors. Aim to create an unforgettable experience that explores a new dietary concept to reconfigure the relationship between humans, food consumption, and future technologies. The reserve is divided into 2 parts. The entire reserve provides fresh daily nutrient sources for the visitors while absorbing carbon emissions and purifying the air around the canal and making a positive social impact.

Algae Micro-farm - 1:1 Concept Apparatus

A home algae micro-farm. It allows humans and algae to coexist symbiotically and harvest algae fresh at home. It provides fresh daily nutrient sources for the users while absorbing the user's daily carbon emissions and purifies the air around the space.

Cumulus

The design is a temporary immersive installation located within the S3 gallery of MUMA. Inspired by the old Zoetrope toy, it is an entertaining and engaging touch control installation that has been placed in a dark space. It also combines some lighting and shadow effects. In this space, the senses of visitors can be well mobilised, such as sight and touch, help us relive previous memory and play as a catalyst for new conversations.

Visitors interact with the installation

When visitors come across and touch them, these glowing pendants will sway and change to bright blue slowly. Visitors will become attentive and sensible to this space because every move they make will affect this installation.

Misty

A 1:1 immersive installation that can create an atmosphere of misty at home during the lockdown. This installation’s appearance relied on the environment in which it is placed. Depending on the surrounding temperature, the water inside collects together and “rains”.
