Hey! I’m Lucy Comb, a recent Communication Design graduate of Monash University. I’m also currently completing a Bachelor of business with a marketing major. I chose to combine the two degrees as I have a strong passion for marketing and advertising. Throughout my years at Monash I have developed a particular interest in typography, publication design and branding which is evident in my work.
Look Up (Poster Series)
Look Up is a campaign created in response to research I gathered through both quantitative and qualitative data. It explores the topic of social media and the increasingly growing negative impacts it has on the mental health of users. Throughout this campaign I wanted to create awareness around the negative effects of excessive screen time – encouraging viewers towards activities that positively influence their mental health.

The Now.
The Now. is a series of guides which provides tourists travelling to New York within information regarding specific areas of the city in a fun and inviting manner. More specifically it focuses on the cafes, restaurants and bars of that specific area. The Now. had the aim to produce three to four guides that come in a set for every season, this regular production is to highlight the so called ‘now’ spots within that area for the season.
How to Practice Gratitude
This project aimed to activate the problem solving impulse of the brain by presenting in-formation in an accessible manner to a younger audience. With a focus on teenage girls in high school, this time in their life is a period where volumes of high stress and emotions are experienced. Therefore, I created a “How to practice Gratitude” guide which instructs the target audience on how to incorporate gratitude into their daily lives in order to relieve some of these stresses.
