Hey!

I'm Max Day and I am a graphic designer based in Melbourne/Naarm.

My work is pivoted towards colour and creating a scene through the manipulation of subjects and collaging. However, my work extends across all identities of graphic design, with a keen passion for collaborating on different works to provide sleek outcomes.

Flesh & Stone

Flesh & Stone was an exhibition designed for photographer, Max Dupain, whose greatest influences were flesh and stone. The exhibition combined Max's photography with my graphic design skills to create a scene/modernise each grayscale photograph.

Public Streets & Digital Media

Public Streets & Digital Media is a printed publication showcasing some of Melbourne's most notable public streets in the form of collaging. The publication explores the existence of private businesses within these public streets by way of digital media and material. This material has been collaged with physical images of the streets to create a scene that highlights the personality of the area and the businesses within.

Melbourne Cinémathèque 2022

Melbourne Cinémathèque 2022 is an annual film festival held at Federation Square. I was tasked with designing the layout of the calendar and promotional screens for the festival.
