OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE

The above Opening Title series is based on 'The land of Mist', a novel by British Author Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle, Published in 1926. The core them is Spiritualism and Materialisation, and the target audiences are teenagers and young adults. The visuals of the sequence are the omens one comprehends before encountering a ghost. The Blue-ish ominous tone set throughout the video represents the eeriness of death. The deep red colour of the Typography is associated with 'rage', 'danger' and 'blood'. The works of Dan Perri inspired the colour palette for the title series. He designed the 'Retro' themed sequence for movies like 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' (1984) and 'The Exorcist' (1973).

KINETIC TYPE DESIGN

The above Kinetic Type design is based on the famous quote, by Jean Rhys from the Novel Wide Sargasso Sea. The choice of elements like Moon, Stars, Clouds, Rain and Thunder represents Alienation, hope, The passing of time, destruction and exhaustion, respectively. The Purple colour, along with its tints and shades, is connected to words like 'Unknown', 'divine' and 'Spiritual'. The Kinetic type incorporates the principles of animation like Timing, Staging, Exaggeration and Appeal. The Illustrations for the video was created using Adobe Illustrator, and the Animation (Including the Type in motion) was done in Adobe After effects.

IMMERSIVE ENVIRONEMNT

’The Birth of Venus’ is a 15th-century painting by the famous Italian artist Sandro Botticelli. The Painting was re-created in a 360 Degree, Spherical Immersive environment. It was edited in Adobe Photoshop and set up in a 3D environment (Cinema 4D). The spherical cameras captured ad rendered a panoramic image, and the video Clip was created using Adobe After effects. The Video can be viewed on any 360-compatible device, including various apps, smartphones, computers.
