Hi there! I am Pinky, a MADA Spatial Design graduate in 2021 who is enthusiastic at designing exhibition, stage, domestic and school environments. I enjoy focusing on the sustainable and speculative design concepts for the future as well as detailing how the users create connections with the space.

Rendering view of Offshore

The rendering image shows the detail of the facade which is above the sea level and the surrounded environment that describes the context of the school. The colour is mainly in warm tone which creates a calm, relaxing feeling.

Plan and Section drawing of Offshore

The special educational school consists of four levels - underwater, ground level, first level and rooftop. The spaces facilitate students learning about marine life, engaging with game based learning, immersing in textures and vision based learning and planting respectively.

Video of Offshore

Here is my Offshore project video and demonstrating how people interact with the spatial elements as well as playfulness in different areas. Most of them are sensitive based with touchable lighting decoration to adjust the level of brightness and colour as well as a large touchscreen on the communal area.

Rendering of Rolling With Homies (Angel, Pinky, Megan, Tongji, Gomes)

The project is based on my idea through the individual work and make it as a groupwork for a further development. It consists of movable furniture which you can contract and expand under different circumstances. For example, closed up for privacy, opened up for the public. There are also two internal garden spaces that invite users to meditate with nature and natural light.

The plans demonstrate how the furniture closes and opens as well as how the pneumatics inflate and deflate creating an evolving facade for the short-term accommodation.
