Hello! I’m Poppy – a recent Communication Design graduate at MADA. I specialise in publication, illustration and brand identity, with a budding interest in digital design. Here are some designs and projects that I have completed during my studies at Monash.
SECONDBITE (LOGO DESIGN)
SecondBite make the most of food that’s produced and save edible food from going to landfill, thereby helping the environment. The icon represents SecondBite’s mission and purpose in a fun yet refined way. It combines vehicles and food. The vehicle in the logo shows the process of delivering food. The food is made up of two different kinds of vegetables, symbolizing the process of food reprocessing, (especially the vegetables on one side seem to have been bitten).
website (protection)
A public welfare website is to raise people's attention to self-harm in order to increase their vigilance and self-protection. The advantage is that how to avoid self-harm is proposed. The website design uses black and red tones to enhance contrast and enhance the depressive atmosphere. The scary and bloody images also improve the usefulness of the website.
Animal Liberation (handbook)
The purpose is to encourage the protection of animals and to increase the discussion of animal rights. The booklet explains in detail the situation and treatment of animals. To appeal to people's compassion.
Animal Liberation (shopping bag)
The purpose is to encourage the protection of animals and to increase the discussion of animal rights.
