The featured project is my new publicity plan for the bushfire foundation. I updated their branding identity and developed a new communication method for them. This new promotional material is aimed at reconstruction their organisations values and educating the public about their cause. I designed the street poster campaign and billboard design as well as promotional collateral for web and stationary. The purpose of the new identity & brand was to help those affected by bushfires, with a focus on the elder generation, hence I added more visual elements such as photography to enhance readability and attention. I believe that through my design work, more people in need can receive the help they need from the Bushfire Foundation.

A street poster mockup

This street poster was designed by me to promote the recovery service of the bushfire foundation. It will be spread in Bendigo, so that people can see and ask for help locally. I will set my poster to the size as A0 and display it in a loop at bus stops and other places, so that people can see it unintentionally. Even if you don’t need help at the moment, they will remember it. The bus is also used by the elderly, so it can help the target audiences more specifically.

A billboard mockup

This is the billboard I designed to promote the bushfire foundation. Because the billboard is easier to be seen by people, and many people who drive by will pay attention to it, so I choose this method. It uses the iconic color dark and green, which embodies the characteristics of the brand and is easier to be remembered by everyone.

A mockup of website

In the website design, I also used the iconic color scheme of dark and green. At the same time, I clearly set up three different businesses below. Compared with the previous web design, my design has clearly differentiated three kinds. Different information enables audiences to click on what they need to get help according to their needs.

The brand guideline

I designed the brand guideline for the bushfire foundation. This brand guideline explains my design philosophy and proper logo usage. And the fonts and colors used, etc. It sets the tone for more designs in the future, which is very important.

A publication for the Snow Village

The book will provide an overview of the Snow Village, including its culture, wonders, and specialties, among other things. The reader will need to be aware of the activities, culture, and specialties that the snow town has to offer them. I'll set the page size to 210x270mm to make it more portrait-like for the snow village guidebook. Regarding the paper selection, I will use 200gsm gloss paper for the guide's internals and 300gsm cardstock for the guide's cover. The guide's binding will be perfect binding, and the gutter will be 10mm.

A journal

My publication is called My Soul Journey. It is a public travel diary about myself. First of all, I introduced six locations around Melbourne, because I think the six locations give me a lot of memories and have special ones. These six locations are not famous buildings or landscapes, but beautiful things that can be quietly encountered in life. I set the size of this diary in A5 horizontal version, which is very suitable for people to read. I will use matte 400gsm white paper to print the cover, and then use 200gsm white paper to print the content. I will use perfect binding to bind this book, the gutter will be 10mm.
