Hey, I’m Sarah! I am a multi-disciplinary designer from Melbourne, aiming to create thoughtful design solutions, focusing on identity and publication. My designs seek to create a better future by tackling social and environmental concerns within society. I want to continue to improve society through increasing awareness towards environmental issues and equal rights.

Really Green?
Really Green? is a campaign which explores the prevalence, yet lack of awareness regarding Greenwashing within society. With a rise in consumers seeking to purchase more sustainable goods, Really Green? aims to increase understanding of what Greenwashing is, ensuring consumers can make more informed purchasing decisions in the future. The above exhibit is part of a series of two walls, the first educating consumers about Greenwashing.

Really Green?
The second wall in the exhibit invites public participation. It will be located in shopping centers and on popular shopping strips, targeting Australian consumers. The second wall urges consumers to choose a sticker from a series of four options and write whatever they feel in response.

Really Green?
The series of five posters is aimed at Australian consumers. The posters will increase awareness about the common Greenwashing tactics used by brands today, and exposes some of the phrases and statements these brands may use to convince their audience that they are doing enough for the environment. The stickers on the posters are a fun, yet subtle reminder for consumers to question these statements.

The above memory game is part of an activity kit aimed at informing Australian parents about Greenwashing tactics that consumers may come into contact with in their daily lives. It does this by providing education tools for parents to enjoy with their children. The kit contains a colouring-in paper bag, a series of three activity sheets, memory game and stickers.

I notice when you stare
I notice when you stare is a campaign which intends to educate primary students and teachers about those with special needs. The range of three classroom posters intends to increase an understanding of all individuals, destigmatising the way in which an individual with special needs may communicate and the equipment they may use.

The ‘Teachers’ guide to special needs education’ is a resource which would be distributed to primary school educators. This resource contains information regarding different types of needs and communication methods, as well as an activity explaining to a teacher how they can educate their class about each of these. The flash cards are aimed at primary students. They contain common tools that an individual with special needs may use to improve their daily life. As these tools are often what causes them to stand out from their peers, the flash cards aim to destigmatise these aspects of the life.
