Shaomin Guo, a product and interactive designer who is particularly interested in user experience and smart living products. During student career, Shaomin learned completely design thinking skill and understands that good design require to solve issues and care about user experience. She also focuses on sustainable design, which is the global trend of the design industry. She believes design can make life better.

STRYDE. (Capstone project)

STRYDE. aims to provide amateur and enthusiastic runners with the assistance that to help users running with safety. STRYDE. comprises of an auditory device that can connect with your phone and smartwatch to help you to navigate and avoid injury while running.

STRYDE. Interactive diagram

The auditory device with sensors can interact with the user's mobile phone and smartwatch. During running, it provides voice and vibration multi-faceted navigation and safety reminders and records the entire running process.

STRYDE. UI Design

The final UI design uses a dark background with eye-catching fluorescent colors. It helps users to quickly catch the main information they need during outdoor running whenever day or night. The color can also make the user feel full of vitality.

LAB TEAM

Because of covid-19, all public places were forced to close. This has an impact on galleries, artists, and audiences. It is time to develop a new normal interactive life service. Our mission is to design an interactive platform. Galleries, artists and audiences can have close connections through this platform. This platform allows viewers to experience gallery activities at home, including exhibitions and shopping. At the same time, artists and audiences can communicate in the community, which is an experience never seen in offline activities. This platform allows galleries to better serve the audience, while also bringing income and attracting more audiences.
