Shi Yuin Lee

This project is Vision and is also one of my major studios for my final year. During the research for my chosen artists, Dale Frank work is more on experiment on joyful, happy and playful type coloured abstract painter. So, by the influence of his work, I also keep exploring the element of colour, emotions and texture. Then connecting with 3D in photoshop, I finally got some 'texture' in my work. The image above is two different coloured pieces of my creation and low down the opacity to show more fluidity and playfulness.

From the very first of this project, the requirement is to experiment with fonts with chosen artists. So in further development, I found a quite interesting way to play with which is to merge my creation into the fonts.

This is really a big difference from my first draft. In this poster, I think the fonts are unique because I edited them from a website that can create its own fonts. My previous version of the poster is lacking special fonts so instead of searching from a huge range of fonts, I decided to play with this. And also as my theme background is black and smoke, everything better be simple so sharp fonts really make everything not too complicated.

My most enjoyed project from my first year. Everything is hand-made, even the flower is fresh. By connecting to Covid-19, exploring with fabric for breathability and liveness element to create a special glove. The purpose of this artwork is to ask people attention that not only mask, gloves is also important.
