Hello there! I am a communication design graduate of Monash University, 2021. I am also completing a Bachelor of Business focusing on marketing. In doing these two degrees I have loved finding where both areas crossover and benefit each other. I believe that the knowledge of both design and business will allow me to better understand each discipline in real life examples. My studio Not for Nothin’ has highlighted my enjoyment of helping create an identity for an entity and building a brand with visual messaging, typography and publication. My chosen organisation was a not-for-profit; the Bushfire Foundation. My collateral includes an educational poster series and social media graphics.

Bushfire Foundation Brand Guidelines

This brand guidelines provides a clear direction of the organisations visual identity. A visual identity which represents the mission of the organisation and allows all collateral to be harmonious and present a united set of graphics.

Bushfire Smoke Educational Poster

An educational poster does not require extensive text but can communicate visually. This particular poster is used to engage with an audience in regional areas that are at risk of being affected by bushfires. Mainly this poster would be placed in high traffic areas of rural towns.

Bushfire Survival Educational Poster

In a pairing with the previous work this educational poster uses similar visuals to highlight they are linked. This poster also uses very little words but only gives key steps to survival which can lead the reader to want more information and be further educated.

Bushfire Foundation Social Media

Instagram is a great platform for free advertising with organisations looking to limit costs. These graphics are simple however aim to use a combination of photography and graphic elements to draw attention and entice further investigation.
