Hi ! My name is Wai Yan Cheng, or you can call me Alicia. I am specialising in communication desig at Monash. Over my years at Monash I've established a strong interest in photography, illustration and typography.

Event Promotion

This a poster which designed for "Royal Melbourne Show" which is an agricultural show which held at Melbourne Showgrounds every September.

Museum of Mushrooms

This a set of physical application such as invitation and sticker (a set of three) dedicated to the "Museum of Mushroom". Which is up to 1250 species of real mushroom from around the world.

Vintage antique button

This is a documentation project which I photographed 24 vintage antique buttons with different pattern. As I find when people buy clothes they were not looking
specifically to how the buttons looks like they tend to look at the clothes as a whole.
But actually buttons are really special and full of tiny little details which bring a kick.

Don't take drugs

This a poster which designed to teach and let high school student to understand the harm of taking drugs.

Glass & Lights

There are three series in total, the first series is more showing the reflection of the object using a cup with a bits of water. The second series is more abstract and the third series is playing around with drips of water.

Understanding Lights

Photograph an object using in 6 different lighting scenarios. By
experimenting with and manipulating different lighting
techniques and camera setting to document the
different effects of light that can be imposed on the same
object.
