Better with U is a skill-sharing app with a family-wide sharing area and sophisticated communication features that not only help users learn new skills, but also facilitate communication and conversation between seniors and family members.

Through observation of the communication process between the elderly and their family members, I can accurately identify distant distance between family members' homes and the busy work of their children. Different content of interest to the two groups, the low resonance and attraction of chat topics caused by lack of understanding of each other’s lives. And the elderly afraid to disturb their children's work and dare not take the initiative to use mobile phone communication are the main reasons for their lack of communication. These problems are also the “Better with U” aims to break, to help the elderly and young family members to enhance understanding improve communication.

To break the behaviour pattern of lack of communication, the most important thing remains to help the elderly and young family member find or create topics of common interest between them. “Better with U” used skill sharing as a source of conversation generation, and during the research that I discovered the level of enthusiasm for “learning” between the two groups are the same. Unlike the common perception that we always think the elderly have lost their passion for learning, not only do young people have a passion for learning, but the elderly are also learning new things, so "Better with U" seized the opportunity and wanted to create common topic through the process of learning new skills

In Better with U, family members can learn skills from other users in the app or share skills themselves. More important feature is create a private "Family Sharing Area" where they can see what skills family members have shared and what they are learning right now in the app. Through the constantly updated content shared in the “Family Sharing Area”, help older and younger family members learn from each other and important thing is they learn more about each other’s lives, users can use what they learn about each other’s recent learning and skills of interest to generate a variety of discussion topics, which greatly improves the communication quality between family members in real life.

The task was to express the sense of place through any form of design. I have chosen the “Shen Nong Jia Forest Region” in China. Shennongjia is a rarely visited area.The sense of mystery and the harmony between animals and nature are the main characteristics of Shennongjia. In terms of design form, is an introduction website to convey the story of Shennongjia to tourists. In terms of website style, I chose to use the combination of Traditional Chinese ink painting and modern painting techniques to draw the webpage illustration and background. The "quiet" and rich in history characteristics of Chinese painting culture, that is why I choose to integrate traditional Chinese techniques.

The task is to create an illustration of a public facility in Melbourne, which will be displayed on the station and walls for publicity purpose. The facility I have chosen is the Melbourne Aquarium. The illustration color takes the dark blue of the ocean as the main color. The light blue glow from the sunlight behind the fish is intended to add brightness to the image, to get rid of the dull dark blue. In terms of painting style, I chose to use a simple flat style, hope through the direct impact of the big devil fish of the image, allowing passers-by to be immediately drawn to the giant sea creatures and to quickly associate the image with the aquarium.
