Yuxiang Gao is a spatial practitioner. He is interested in shared space and explores this through research, observation, and first-hand community research. In this project, Yuxiang is designing the Future Biking School for children aged 8-12. Some parts of the bicycle are integrated into this design. He designed this school around the concept of continuity and openness.
The Gears
Orange is the dominant colour in this project; it is vivid. At the same time, He tried using gradients on the exterior to make the building feel more dynamic. Gomes do not make his space to be enclosed, so passers-by can see what's happening inside the school.
Indoor Learning Area
This is where students learn about road traffic laws and theoretical knowledge about bicycles.
Outdoor Learning Area
This is where students first set foot on bicycles. They will learn and improve their cycling skills here.
