Oh! The world of play.

The ability to play, play on words, a play on the stage, the play we perform daily - to play.

To be able to touch and handle, hold and move, twist, turn, push and pull. Tactility of object and interact-ability of space. To engage and dis-engage. Interested in immersive art, forms of interaction and non-static work; I seek various formats of de-formalising the art exhibiting space.
Influenced by the world of theatre and stage I create art that requires interaction as activation. For someone to perform the show, a body enters the room with shadows alight and hands reaching. An ebb and flow of work that never remains, always changing with hand, block or shadow.

Wood, acrylic, stage lights and coloured gels.

Dimensions variable

An immersive installation filling the space with light, colour, sculpture and play. Interaction is encouraged to activate this large scale wooden block piece with hands alight and shadows looming. This work is ever changing, never the same, always in constant with ebb and flow from touch, push, and pull.
