About the role

The Occupational Health Physician (OHP) works within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and is responsible for providing targeted occupational health advice so that staff and students can safely engage in all education/work-related activities with minimal risk to health and safety. The OHP plays a pivotal role in the promotion of preventive health strategies and workplace wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional individual with a unique skillset derived from significant experience in medical practice and/or research and effective management and response to highly complex public health emergencies. The incumbent will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to provide strategic advice to a range of audiences and to act as the University spokesperson on health matters. The OHP will be highly experienced in and committed to organisational health and wellbeing programs and initiatives.
