Rural Training Pathways Congress 2023: Rural Health Futures is hosted by Monash Rural Health on Friday 24 November, in Traralgon. We are excited to partner with a number of Medical Colleges and other organisations for this event, which builds off the success of the 2022 Rural Training Pathways Congress held in Mildura. Join us to explore and further develop pathways in regional medicine.
STREAM ONE
Stakeholder Organisations: To support and further develop rural training pathways.
This event will bring organisations together in workshops to share successes, failures and learnings around training pathway development and delivery, with a view to grow trainees embedded in and connected to their rural communities.
STREAM TWO
Aspiring Rural Clinicians: To showcase rural pathways and lifestyles to potential future trainees.
This event will show medical students and pre-vocational doctors the benefits of living, training and working outside of metropolitan areas and will offer an opportunity to link with senior clinicians and College representatives across a range of pathways including Anaesthetics, Cardiology, Nephrology, Radiology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, General Practice and Rural Generalism.
We acknowledge the Gunaikurnai people as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the Congress will be held and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.

Tickets include all activities, meals and transport on Friday 24 November.
Registrations have now closed.
