Our research aims to reveal how viruses make our cells their home, multiply and dodge immune defences to ultimately cause disease. For this, we use structural biology approaches to generate high resolution 3D models of viral components, which underpins the rational design of new vaccines and drugs to combat viral pathogens. We also investigate viruses do not cause disease in humans but are beneficial to human activities through their engineering for biomedical and biotechnological applications.
We are committed to excellence in research.
We're always interested in collaborating with bright and motivated researchers, clinicians and industry. Whether you want to research, study or partner with us to accelerate our discoveries, find out about the work we do.
