Our research

We are interested in the neurohormonal control of food intake, bodyweight and blood glucose. We want to help develop and implement anti-obesity strategies that make a real-world difference. A key research interest in our lab is how obesity leads to cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Our research focus areas:

  • Causes of obesity
  • Novel treatments for obesity
  • Understanding obesity-associated diseases, diabetes & hypertension
