Our research vision focuses on exploring, and identifying, effective teaching practices which help educators balance between teaching both discipline knowledge and workplace practical and psychosocial skills.  Whether you are a student looking to explore how to improve your learning, a healthcare worker looking to uncover better ways to practice medicine, an academic interested in improving the teaching experience, or a governmental agency overseeing education – we would be delighted to hear from you! We have opportunities for honours students, PhD students, and healthcare professionals. To find out more, contact Associate Professor Michelle D. Lazarus.

Donate to our lab

Research in education is an area where the “bang for your buck” is quite high. With small donations, we can have huge impact on large groups of stakeholders from the students to the university to society. With every dollar donated, we can help build outstanding community learning content and educator toolkits. Every bit makes a difference.

Selected funding groups

We gratefully acknowledge the funding given to our lab by Monash Education Academy and the NHMRC.
