Scholarships for PhD students
Exceptional graduate students with a high level (H1) Honours degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Bioengineering or a completely unrelated field who may contribute to our studies are encouraged to apply for scholarships.
Domestic and international students are required to enrol in the Monash Biomedicine Graduate Program. Prospective students are advised to check Monash Graduate Research website for admission requirements and deadline prior to application.
Monash University and Monash BDI offer competitive graduate research scholarships annually for both domestic and international students, including stipends and other allowances. In addition, many international students will be eligible for tuition scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
Applicants require:
- A cover letter including a brief outline (1 page) detailing your interest in, and suitability for, the project.
- A detailed curriculum vitae including academic transcript(s).
- Names and contact details of two academic referees.
