Post-doctoral positions available

The Tiganis Lab is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral researchers to join an established research team with a track record in research excellence. The team takes an integrative approach that spans the fields of metabolism, immunology and cancer to address fundamental questions in biology and disease. A particular focus is the pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to obesity and type 2 diabetes and how these in turn drive the development of diseases such non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and cancer.

Post-doctoral positions are available:

  • To explore the molecular mechanisms contributing to the development of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
  • To characterise the importance of redox balance in health and disease.
  • To determine the molecular mechanisms by which obesity drives the development of cancer.
  • To explore how obesity influences anti-tumour immunity and the response to immunotherapy.
  • To develop novel cellular therapies for combating cancer

This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate team at a leading university. If you feel you have the drive and expertise to contribute to this team, please contact Professor Tiganis.
