Lucia Cade

After 20 years as an engineering and executive leader Lucia Cade has now forged a career as a company director with a portfolio that spans utilities, infrastructure, waste recycling, advanced high-tech manufacturing, renewable energy research and investment in the private, listed and governance sectors.

She is known to focus on engineering and technical innovation, on leadership that creates value and business growth that is both financially and socially sustainable. She promotes a focus on people, providing value to customers and creating work environments where people can excel and develop great careers.

Her current directorships include Engineers Australia, Paintback, Infrastructure Victoria, Urban Utilities, The Environment Group and Future Fuels CRC. She is also the Chair of Methodist Ladies College, Kew. Lucia is a Fellow of AICD and of Engineers Australia and a life member of the Australian Water Association.

She is married with 3 adult children, none of whom studied engineering!
