First generation antipsychotic medication for treatment of mental health disorders could potentially cause adverse side effects, such as Drug-Induced Parkinson’s (DIP). However, there are limited tools available in clinical practice to effectively diagnose DIP.

This project aims to develop a compact flexible system to assess and monitor various DIP-related physiological parameters in affected patients, develop algorithms to extract various parameters and use machine learning techniques to quantify the stage and severity of the disease.
