Presenters
Rita Brien, Alumna
Rita works as a Research and Education Officer at Turning Point and Assistant Lecturer in the Addictive Behaviours program. She has a background in research, education, and project coordination roles across the public health, healthcare, higher education and, more recently, alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sectors. She is also a recent graduate of the Master of Addictive Behaviours, completing the research stream in early 2019.
Dr Naomi Crafti, Course Coordinator, Graduate Certificate of Telehealth and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow, Monash University
Naomi has worked in higher education for nearly 30 years, mainly in the areas of psychology and counselling. She was instrumental to the development of the Addictive Behaviours and Telehealth courses since their inception. Naomi is part of the Workforce Development team at Turning Point and is currently the Addictive Behaviours Chief Examiner and Course Coordinator for the Graduate Certificate of Telehealth. Read more.
Professor Victoria Manning, Head of Research and Workforce Development, Turning Point, Eastern Health and Associate Professor of Addiction Studies, Monash University
Victoria is the Head of Research and Workforce Development at Turning Point. She is a chartered psychologist (UK) with a PhD in neurocognition and co-occurring disorders. Over the past two decades she has worked as a clinical researcher in addictions in the UK, Asia and Australia on clinical trials, intervention studies, training and prevalence and treatment outcome studies. Victoria is currently the Course Coordinator and Unit Coordinator for several units within the Addictive Behaviours program. Read more.
