partnership in that country.
Co-designing digital mental health intervention for people with hearing impairments (PWHIs) in Bangladesh
Our focus is on research that supports people with disabilities to live self-directed lives by understanding the role of technology as an enabler or barrier to social and economic participation and driving technological innovation that meets the needs of people with disabilities, their families, educators, and employers. In collaboration with the disability organisation Team Inclusion in Bangladesh, the goal of this proposed study is to work with PWHIs, sign language interpreters, and mental health professionals to create digital mental health interventions that are culturally and linguistically appropriate for people with hearing impairments.
Co-creating cyber safety awareness and capability building for women in digital spaces in Bangladesh
Through our collaboration with Oxfam in Bangladesh, this research project aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current practices and experiences of women entrepreneurs in digital spaces. We focus on enhancing cyber safety capability and awareness, utilising user-centric solution-based design approaches. Additionally, we aim to tailor effective processes and communication strategies for engaging ecosystem-level stakeholders, including policymakers, community organisations, and the private sector. Our goal is to influence and develop effective awareness and capability-building initiatives, interventions, programmes, and policies for sustainable development for women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh.
