This project aims to explore how patients and healthcare practitioners perceive the role of generative AI systems, such as ChatGPT, in healthcare.

We are interested in understanding the extent to which AI is viewed as a source of medical information, a decision-support tool, a complement to healthcare professionals, or a potential substitute for certain aspects of healthcare practice.

The survey also examines the situations in which individuals trust and rely on AI-generated health advice, as well as the factors that influence these perceptions and behaviours.
